Efisiensi Belanja Pemerintah Terhadap Indeks Pembangunan Manusia Secara Regional di Indonesia

This study analyzed the efficient level for Government expenditure on regional Human Development Index (HDI) in Indonesia 2014-2018. used panel data with number of DMUs 34 provinces Indonesia, while input variable was government spending health, education, economy, social protection sectors, and output human development index Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) testing focused (input-oriented) by using assumption Variable Return to Scale (VRS). The results showed that only 14 were Expenditures increase HDI, but 20 inefficient HDI. Thus it is hoped all provinces, especially those who inefficient, can improve their performance use budgets have been increasing HDI value make decisions or policies problem achieving each province Indonesia.
